Gorlock the Destroyer is a nickname given to blogger Ali C. Lopez after her appearance on the Whatever Podcast next to smaller guests and cohosts in late April 2023. The nickname inspired widespread jokes and memes about her appearance, including videos in which her audio was replaced with the Star Wars character Jabba the Hutt.

On April 25th, 2023, the Whatever Podcast streamed its 69th episode of the podcast, titled "RAGEQUIT KEEKO vs. CHASE! Round 2! FIGHT! Dating Talk #69". The episode notably featured Ali C. Lopez as a guest.

Later on April 26th, 2023, Twitter user @TheOnlyDSC posted an edited version of the clip that replaced Lopez's voice with Jabba the Hutt, gaining over 11,000 retweets and 76,000 likes in six days. The clip itself gained over 4.1 million views in one week. Their post suggests they were not the first person to make the video, but it is unclear who initially did.
