With nice cinematography and edition, and very diverse testimonies, this is kind of an expressionist(at least in its beginning) documentary on Acrean culture, spirituality/religiousness and nature. Santo Daime and Ahuasca are highlighted, but they are not the only issues addressed. The documentary begins quite nice but it is also too long and, after one hour, there is the feeling that it should have already ended. It worsens and loses focus, including some very boring undless and meaningless interviews, unfortunately. At least the movie improves a little again when discusses poisonous fauna and natural medicine, and assassination of activist Chico Mendes.
