A caravan escorting Anea, last survivor of Araura, is annihilated. Only 3 survive. Renzia, a vagabond, is hired by Anea as escort out of The Darklands despite initial refusal. The journey tests Renzia's capabilities as an escort.

A caravan escorting a young woman named Anea, the last survivor of Araura, out of The Darklands has been annihilated, leaving only three survivors. A shiftless vagabond named Renzia is offered a protection job, which he refuses. However, fate may have other plans for him.
