This episode is an excellent introduction to the anime. It quickly draws us into the world and helps us understand Rudo from the very beginning.
It's a gripping start that sparks genuine curiosity for what's to come, while also taking us through a wide range of emotions.
The visual quality is strong, and the sound design is absolutely outstanding - it elevates the entire experience.
The only downside is that the episode sticks a bit too closely to cinematic storytelling conventions, which makes some parts a little predictable. You can often tell what's about to happen next.
But even so, it still manages to surprise us in key moments, and everything is executed with care and skill.
For me, it clearly deserves a 9/10.

Great episode. The beginning is very captivating and it makes you want to watch more. I even considered to read the manga, but I'll try to watch the entire anime first. The animation is great, very fluid and well-done. The voice acting was great too. It already shows the character development throughout the episode, with him losing completely the hope about humanity. It shows that he will seek for vengeance and makes you wonder how he will be able to go up there again. Rudo was shown to be very fast, but it's necessary to wait to see his abilities. In overall, a great first episode. I predict that this anime will be surely very good.
I can appreciate anime's like this. They get straight to the point without feeling like you're rushing through too fast. The main character is relatable and headstrong about his morales. The animation quality is certainly top tier "Bones Studio" out did themselves. I love the scenes they add black and white manga illustrations in. The scene transition is flawless. The story is well explained and after episode 1 you already have a connection with the main character. The subbing/writing is easy to follow which imo was a hard thing for some studios recently like (Lord Of Mysteries). I think this has such amazing potential. I'm excited for this one. Watch episode 1 you will enjoy it.

Absolutely love the sound effects and overall production of the anime .Every bit and vibration is felt ,imagery is quite unique and interesting and reminds me of Dorohedoro. I haven't read the manga but after the episode I ask myself a question why haven't I seen it before . The character development is simple though effective and the foreshadowing of the killer was so damm nice .The fact we begin the episode with his appearance and finish the episode on top with his stare is somewhat interesting although I am not sure for sort of symbolism is in this particular direction. Definitely look forward and hopefully it would keep up on the level .
The start is pretty much like any action anime or revenge imo, I do like the style and so far storyline, music, animation, voice acting is really good and it's enjoyable so far but I hope it doesn't do the same thing other revenge anime's do since I have never really read the manga but took glimpses. I also so far really enjoy the setting and the many different types of character designs which look really good. I also do think they could have improved on giving more context of the father. The animation for this is amazing and Rudolph at the end is just a masterpiece to where he crashes out which made me hype, so this episode was a good intro.
