To celebrate their 20th anniversary together, Santi and his wife Ale travel to Samaná, Dominican Republic, in company of their friends and Mario and Natalia, who are a longtime married too. The four met in the same night, and although at first Mario was attracted to Ale and Santi to Natalia, they ended marry with the other woman. Santi works in her Ale's father printing press while Mario is a philosophy teacher expert in the classic Greeks, in addition that Ale owns of a clothing store and Natalia plays tuba in an orchestra. Trying to have some fun and forget for a time their daily lives, the first night party ends horribly wrong: thinking that she can to reveal it like a joke, Ale confesses to Santi, Mario and Natalia that 20 years ago she was the responsible to steal Santi's car key because she was more interested on Santi instead Mario. The bomb not only causes the fury of the other three, but that the four got deeply drunk. When Ale wakes up the next morning, she finds herself trapped in a nightmare: Santi claims to be a police officer and married to Natalia, and Mario insists that the two are married and that he is the one who works at the printing press. At the same time that Ale tries to get things back to normal, the other three agree to follow Ale's reality in the hope that she will be the one to back to normal.
