Celebrities are D list and not compelling. The presentation was so chaotic it was difficult to even follow. A big Tyler Henry fan - this iteration is quite a disappointment and not as well-produced as his other quite interesting shows on major network and the docudrama on Netflix. Lastly Tylers' hair falling in his face was quite distracting. Should go back to a style off his face so focus does not go to his hair. Or slick it back so it stays out of his face. Tyler is quite skilled and this format is not as calm, concise, well-produced with intriguing A-B list subjects that bring with it compelling themes. May be better with general public subjects vs low tier subjects of notoriety.
Yikes! What a mess!! The crowded couch and Tyler trying to figure out what message goes to who. And half the time, most of the couch dwellers look confused and searching to find a connection to what he is bringing up. I mean, who doesn't have a David in their family. It seems very random almost as if he is shooting in the dark and hoping to land something. I have liked Tyler Henrys past show but this concept sucks, and the people so far on the couch are just not interesting. I have tried a couple of times to give this series a try, but I can't seem to get thru one full episode. Time to go back to the drawing board and move the couch out!!
This guy looks like the Hanson brother that went to the dark side, his sweating due to effort communicating with the other side, really? I didn't think looking up Wikipedia was so straining, his fox anchor lookalike co presenter has a dead husband, he shoehorned that fact in in the first ten minutes, his verbal diarrhoea with no actual facts being so vague as to be unintelligible is grasped at by seemingly nice people who deserve better, (I don't actually know who they are really) it felt like an episode of the mentalist, I kept expecting Simon Baker to jump out and Lisbon to arrest him. I pondered as to whether the next Netflix special he'll be on is an investigation into him.
I watched a few of his readings on You tube before the series came out, and found it interesting, but still questioned the validity. Tyler's claims not to have ever heard of some of these very famous celebrities seem a little suspect. And 95% of the facts he reveals to them are very much in the public domain and easily found online. And I find Tyler's persona a bit grating and some what patronising. BUT, and it's a big but, (I cannot lie) there are several instances where he seems to deliver some information that no-one outside of the immediate circle could have known. Now, naysayers might suggest he had some inside information, but all the same, it at least leaves a question mark.
Love Tyler, hate his new show. He's excellent with one on one show. This multi person show is confusing, not entertaining, and this Amanda is interfering with any flow. Loved all his other shows and was enthralled but this show sucks I gave it many tries but yuk!!! I mute the tv every time Amanda opens her mouth. Then I never finish a show due to the confusing unfinished sentences and thoughts. Please Tyler go back to one on ones!!! You are wonderful and truly have a wonderful gift. You help so many people through the rough times. I truly enjoy your other shows, and love your Mother. Your a great son!
