Cris Morena infamously sued Florencia Bertotti for plagiarism after the actress created Niní (2009), which Morena thought was too similar to Floricienta (2004). They have since made up, but Morena has yet to announce an appearance of Bertotti on this sequel.

Cris Morena wrote the theme songs with Federico Vilas and her son Tomás Yankelevich. Her previous longtime collaborator in songwriting was Carlos Nilson, with whom she wrote the themes from Chiquititas (1995), Floricienta (2004) and many other productions.
