Murder in Swingtime

Here's a reasonably typical musical short subject of the 1930s, with some good music and a nonsensical plot. What makes it stand out is that the people onscreen are all Black. Back then, this was called a race film, and would typically play in the all-black theaters.

In any case, the story of this short is that the band member "Piccolo Pete" has been doing his solo during ""Dinah" and murdered it. Now he faces trial and if found guilty, will be sentenced to swing.
