There are two scenes where Clara Fisher is reading the novel "Dracula". This was the Mercury Theater's first radio play, which aired three months before the "War of the Worlds" adaptation.
Both Clara Fisher's house, and her Neighbors house were shot in the same location. Furniture was moved and altered to make it look different.
