A trio of U.K. stars have joined Guy Richie’s “Wife & Dog,” rounding out the cast of the director’s next adventure into the colourful and backstabbing world of the British upper classes (which he recently explored in “The Gentleman” film and TV series).
James Norton, Paddy Considine and Pip Torrens will star in the feature, now in production, joining the previously announced Cosmo Jarvis, Benedict Cumberbatch, Rosamund Pike and Anthony Hopkins.
“Wife & Dog” — first announced by Variety — was written by Ritchie, who also produces alongside long-time producing partner, Ivan Atkinson and Black Bear’s John Friedberg. Executive producers include Teddy Schwarzman and Michael Heimler for Black Bear, and Louise Killin. Black Bear launched sales on the title in Cannes last year, and the film marks the company’s third collaboration with Ritchie and Atkinson following “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” and “In the Grey.”
