Aaron Rodgers stands as one of the most electrifying figures in the history of the NFL—a four-time Mvp, Super Bowl champion, and arguably one of the most skilled quarterbacks to ever take the field. His career is marked by iconic performances, precise throws, and audacious plays, cementing his place among the all-time greats.
Yet the tension between Rodgers’ football brilliance and his complex, often polarizing public persona shapes a portrait of a man continually at odds with the image he has cultivated. Behind the confident swagger of the quarterback lies a figure who often slips into the role of introspective thinker, pondering life’s mysteries through a lens of mysticism and unconventional beliefs.
Rodgers’ fame extends far beyond his athletic feats. His outspoken views—on everything from vaccine skepticism to self-proclaimed spiritual awakenings—have made him a lightning rod for controversy.

It’s well-documented that Simone Biles doesn’t really like that athletes are bombarded with questions about “what’s next” in the moments after they’ve achieved their lifelong dreams.
But as she pondered her future after winning gold medals at the 2024 Olympics, and further cementing her legacy as the greatest gymnast of all time, a path began to emerge — toward entertainment.
“Whether I like it or not, I’ve been around the entertainment space for basically my whole professional career. If you asked me when I was younger, I wanted to be a nurse. I wanted to help people. I wanted to be out in the community,” Biles tells Variety about her decision to join the board of Religion of Sports (Ros), the media company founded by NFL legends Tom Brady and Michael Strahan and Emmy-winning documentarian Gotham Chopra.
“I feel like this is such a unique way to still be in the community,...

Streaming audiences have been all over the place with their holiday viewing this year. Instead of non-stop Christmas classics, we've seen Megan Fox sci-fi thrillers dominating Netflix's charts, and Gerard Butler-led crime thrillers taking over the Max rankings. That said, viewers have still managed to squeeze in some traditional holiday fare amid all the crime and sci-fi stuff, with Prime Video audiences propelling Arnold Schwarzenegger's 1996 Christmas comedy "Jingle All the Way" to the top of that streamer's charts. But even as the festive classics surface for the season, our collective appetite for darker offerings appears to be insatiable, as a new Netflix comedy drama series has managed to stand out amid the holiday stream-fest.

Aaron Rodgers has a lot to complain about at the moment.
His New York Jets are 4-10 and certain to miss the NFL playoffs, and his ex-girlfriend Shailene Woodley is finally opening up about their toxic relationship.
And Aaron’s not known for his sunny disposition even when things are going well, so you can bet that he’s especially grumpy these days.

Watching the new Netflix sports docuseries Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, I reflected on how the media has changed this century. It’s a funny thing. Journalists and reporters demand genuine, honest conversation, yet we live and die by search engine optimization. However, we live in an age where we reduce soundbites to the point where we no longer care about their accuracy.
Today, we cut up what transpires in a one-on-one conversation or press conference into something that never reflects the actual intent. The days of Edward R. Murrow are gone, replaced by bloggers and social media darlings. While watching Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, you can genuinely feel for the man, but he often puts his foot in his mouth without showing true humility.

"Is it time for him to retire?" Yes. Netflix has revealed an official trailer for a new sports documentary series called Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, arriving on Netflix for streaming this month. Follow NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers' comeback with the New York Jets and also his life off the field, including his advocacy for ayahuasca, a psychedelic brew. The series is co-directed by acclaimed sports filmmakers Gotham Chopra & Liam Hughes (of Destination NBA: A G League Odyssey). The Netflix sports series with 3 full episodes will follow Aaron Rodgers’ comeback after tearing his Achilles, while also exploring his life and career through the intimate and difficult parts that made him a household name on and off the field. Chronicling the defining moments of his life & career. I don't think he should be celebrated for being an anti-vaxxer, as this is ridiculous. But this is framed more as a sports doc and his...

December is the perfect month to relax with a binge or two and Netflix is providing plenty of new options.

Other notables are the “30 for 30” Collection, the latest season of “Virgin River,” the first “Transformers” film and Sabrina Carpenter’s Christmas special, “A Nonsense Christmas.”

The last month of 2024 has arrived, but that doesn't mean there aren't any good new Netflix shows to watch. For the last 31 days of the year, Netflix will be pulling out all the stops with brand-new movies, shows, documentaries, and more excellent new releases in December.
While you're watching your favorite Christmas movies, maybe even some on Netflix, you can also check the month's best binge-worthy offerings featuring some of the biggest stars. Keira Knightley headlines the spy drama Black Doves, while Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano lead the star-studded cast of dark comedy series No Good Deed.
December also brings the highly anticipated latest seasons of some of Netflix's most popular original series, including Virgin River, Queer Eye, and just a little show you've probably heard of called Squid Game. It's a jam-packed month to see out 2024, but what's worth watching and what should you skip?
