A fantastic insight into a loving but struggling mother and her relationship with her hearing impaired daughter. Truly portrayed how stressful a life a single mother must lead. And a great view into the mind of a little girl who can't hear but has seen so much in such little time. The first scene immediately drops you into something intense and important feeling even though you don't yet know what's happening. Savannah Dahan beautifully portrays the panic and stress a girl in her characters position goes through and how even without the sense of hearing can problem solve and find a way to help her mother in a dangerous moment. Cole Vallis somehow allows the audience to experience feelings of anxiousness, empathy and terror in under 10 minutes. Can't wait for more people to see this film and can't wait to see what everyone involved does next!

This movie was truly exceptional! I loved how it was told from the unique point of view of the main character, a young girl who is deaf. Many scenes were completely without sound, yet you always fully understood what was happening, which added a powerful emotional layer. It was fascinating to experience heightened emotions through the absence of sound, almost as though your other senses were naturally heightened, mirroring what it might feel like to be deaf.
The acting was superb-every performance felt authentic and deeply moving. Additionally, the cinematography was stunning, with each shot beautifully composed, almost like a framed photograph. Overall, it was a fantastic and deeply immersive experience!

This short took us on a ride of emotions. The pace of the film introduced us to the characters expertly while also evoking emotions of intrigue, heartbreak, empathy, anger, hope and joy. The intimate tone of the storytelling, cinematography and the superb acting allowed us to get the know the characters and made us want to dive in deeper to this powerful story. We were all lucky to meet the young actress Savannah Dahan along with many of the filmmaking team members. A passionate team of creative storytellers that we hope to see more of. We hope that a Feature film of "FLY" is on the horizon. Congrats!
