"The speech" left me completely speechless.

What a banger of an episode! Thank you tappei for writing this masterpiece of a story,Thank you White fox, thank you the director, thank you animators , thank you voice actors, thank you Yuusuke Kobayashi you cooked, i am also excited for the english dub and Sean chiplock's speech (english va of Subaru) , and thank you everyone who worked on this episode. Re:zero always makes me emotional. That's why Re:zero will always have a special place in my heart.

I will always love Subaru, how great of a character he is.

I had high expectation for this episode and white fox delivered. A easy 10/10 episode for me.

    The Speech!!!

The speech was just insane, hearttouching and utterly brilliant for Subarus character. Re:Zero really is at its best when the characters are just talking about their feelings. At first we get a lot of characterization for 184 and insight into why Emilia choosed not to abandon the other wives. Then after the Subaru praising scene was so epic. All these characters just glazing Subaru because of all his achievements with an incredible Ost playing in the background just underlines that Subaru, despite himself not feeling like it, is indeed a hero to many many people in this world.

And for the speech itself, just go ahead and watch it, it is absolutely brilliant with an amazing insert sang by Rie Takahashi. The white birds appearing again, as they did back at the Rem x Subaru moment in Season 1 was also just great symbolism. Oh and... We've finally seen glimpse of Al's face... if this is not enough to convince you that this is a great episode then I don't know :p.

I waited 6 years for this episode and it was worth it.

One if not the episode i looked forward the most for this arc.

    Masterclass in every aspect.

The speech which engraved the Hero Natsuki Subaru not just in the hearts of those who fought alongside him during the battle of the white whale and the arcbishop of sloth, not just of those close to him he saved in the sanctuary but now of those of the kingdom too and most importantly his own heart, which finally accepted, that he indeed is worthy of being called a hero.

This part made me cry when i read it years ago in the webnovel, yesterday i read the light novel version for the first time to check for differences and to refresh my mind and of course to steel my heart again.

Yet again, the passionate and talented people involved in this project, may god protect those beautiful souls, delivered this story defining moment in the most beautiful way possible and i couldn't help to get emotional again.

Thank you, truly thank you for this adaptation.

    Absolute Cinema

No more words needed to describe this episode. The dialogues, the characters, the emotion, the build up. Most people who were reading the novel were afraid of the studio giving an innacurate adaptation, but this... This is peak fiction. This episode is one of the best anime episodes ive ever seen in my life, its just straight up that amazing. The speech itself was amazing, emotional and exciting at the same time, and also the reveal of Reinhard at the end of the episode was great. Im thankful for the studio "White Fox" for adapting the source material into a 30 minute episode, because if there was just a cliffhanger to the speech, it would leave less impact, atleast for me. Absolute Cinema.

And they said Subaru is a bad MC.

Everything about this episode, from the speech, to the side-plots, to the buildup for the end of the first half of the season is immaculate.

I will hereby use this episode as a trump card to anyone who has the nerve to call Subaru a bad mc, since that's the argument I hear most against this anime.

The amount of character development this man has gone through and the way he's changed for the better is amazing, considering all the pain he's gone through. Much more than a lifetime's worth.

I'm so excited for next week's episode, and I thank everyone who participated in this wonderful project.

    Thank you for reading.
