Mumbai, April 2 (Ians) As the stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma celebrates his 43rd birthday on Tuesday, the team of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ showered love on him, wishing him the best things in life.

Kapil, who hails from Amritsar, Punjab, rose to fame after winning the comedy reality TV show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ in 2007. He then participated in ‘Comedy Circus’ in 2010, and went on to win six seasons of the show.

In 2013, Kapil launched his own show titled ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’.

The host and actor started ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ in the year 2016.

One of the most anticipated films of 2015, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon launched their trailer yesterday at a suburban theater in Mumbai in the presence of the comic sensation, Kapil Sharma along with his co-stars Arbaaz Khan, Varun Sharma, Manjari Fadnis, Elli Avram, Sai Lokur, Simran Mundi, director Abbas-Mustan and producers Ratan Jain and Ganesh Jain!!

Kapil Sharma was seen at his funniest best during the entire event, and also managed to impress the audience with his trailer and amazing comic timing! Also keeping in mind the wedding theme, the entire theater was decorated like a mandap and ‘Shaadi ke Ladoos’ were give-aways for the media.

Also present at the event was the entire team of ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ who came in the support of Kapil Sharma! Others present at the event were Vashu Bhagnani, Jamie Lever and Satish Kaushik!

Popular Indian comedian Kapil Sharma is all set to make his debut in Bollywood, after winning everyone’s heart with his most famous comedy show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’. The actor released the official trailer of his first movie ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’ today on Twitter.

The trailer is looking promising and assures to give ultimate doze of comedy in the film. The movie directed by Abbas-Mustan, also stars Arbaaz Khan, Manjari Phadnis, Amrita Puri, Elli Avram, Simran Kaur Mundi, Varun Sharma, Supriya Pathak, Sai Lokur and Sharat Saxena in supporting roles.

The music of this movie is composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Dr Zeus, Javed Mohsin & Amjad Nadeem. The film is scheduled to release on 25th September 2015.

After Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible, there is the Kapoor Cruise. Rishi Kapoor won't be here for the release of his new eagerly awaited film All Is Well.

Explaining his absence the versatile actor says, "All of us are off on a 3-week Mediterranean cruise. It was planned long before. There's no way I'd give up that to be here for my film's release."

'All of us means' the entire Kapoor Khandaan. The matriarch Mrs Krishna Raj Kapoor, her three sons Randhir, Rishi (with wife Neetu) and Rajeev and two daughters Reema and Ritu, their husbands , children...and so on.

So is this cruise inspired by Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do? Rishi protests furiously, "Please! We've been doing this for years now. It's just that no one knew about it."

On Tuesday, before Rishi leaves for the cruise, he will be shooting an episode of Comedy Nights With Kapil.

While fans have been going crazy about Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and they are not the only ones! Celebrities have been going gaga too and we saw this when Salman recently visited the sets of popular TV shows Indian Idol Junior, Dance India Dance 4, Comedy Nights with Kapil and a special episode he shot titled ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan Kidnapped’ with kids.

But what is even cooler is that his visits resulted in a series of Dubsmash videos featuring popular dialogues from the film. Salman Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sonakshi Sinha, Mithun Chakraborty, Dance India Dance judge Puneet, Kapil Sharma, Sugandha Mishra have joined the bandwagon showing support with their videos and we have them just for you!.

Ever since Kapil Sharma announced that he will be taking a break from 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' (for health issues), there have been speculations about who will replace the comedian. Various names like Karan Johar, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh and Arjun Kapoor did the rounds in the media as a replacement.

First Karan retaliated saying he can never replace Kapil, and now Arjun Kapoor also denied all the reports, thus making clear that he will not host the show.

Arjun Kapoor wrote on a micro-blogging site, "Have woken up to random things before in the media...but this is a different level...they have attached my name to be part of comedy nights"

"I love television in India and @KapilSharmaK9. I remain a fan of the show as a viewer...that's it not gonna host episodes. #randomnewsday !!!," added the Iifa host, who recently tickled our funny bone at the awards ceremony.

For all those, whose weekend nights had become synonymous with the popular show 'Comedy Nights With Kapil', there's some sad news. The show's host Kapil Sharma, who had single handedly taken the show to dizzying heights, has suffered a slipped disc while working out and hence, he will not be hosting the show for a few episodes. If the buzz is to be believed, then, Kapil Sharma will now be 'replaced' by the likes of Arshad Warsi and Sajid Khan, who have been roped in do host one episode each. Besides the two, even Karan Johar's name has been doing the rounds for hosting an episode. Despite repeated attempts to establish contacts with the channel, it remained unavailable for comments. There is some disappointing news for all the 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' fans. Comedian Kapil Sharma, who has been continuously making the audiences Lol (Lough Out Loud) on his very popular television show will be going off air as he has decided to take a break.

Kapil confirmed this new on a microblogging site writing, ''Hello friends. Hope All well .. But m not well.. advised for bed rest... Shooting last episode with @BeingSalmanKhan coming back soon :)''

Cnwk's last episode will be with Salman Khan, who will be seen promoting Bajrangi Bhaijaan which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film is set to release this Eid.

Meanwhile, Kapil is currently gearing up for his debut film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon which is directed by Abbas-Mustan and is slated to release on September 25, 2015.

There was high drama on the sets of Kapil Sharma's popular show when Govinda and his daughter, who makes her debut this week in Smeep Kang's Second Hand Husband, walked out minutes before they were to go on air. The reason given in two words was...Geeta Basra. It was a little shocking to see the team of Smeep Kang's film Second-Hand Husband on Kapil Sharma's Comedy Nights With Kapil this week without the film's debutante heroine Tina Ahuja who is our own Govinda's daughter. While the film's leading man Punjabi superstar Gippy Grewal was present with the film's second lead Geeta Basra, Tina, we are told, chose to stay away from camera range. Says a source from Kapil's show, "Govindaji had come for our show with his daughter Tina. But minutes before the camera was to roll they left. We were all in a state of a shock.

While Shraddha Kapoor-Varun Dhawan may not be dating each other, there seems to be something brewing between the two.

Shraddha, on 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' (while promoting their movie Abcd 2), also agreed that she proposed Varun Dhawan when they were younger.

Recently, when Shraddha was asked to describe one quality she likes the most in her Abcd 2 co-star Varun Dhawan, she replied, "Varun is very lovable. Everyone loves him."

The recently held Iifa Awards in Malaysia, among other things, witnessed probably the best hosts in the history of any Bollywood award show. Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor came together to rock the Iifa stage and arguably bettered the Shah Rukh-Saif jodi as hosts is the general perception.

Ranveer and Arjun were invited by the organisers to host the show because the pairing had got so much love from the audience thanks to their incredible off screen camaraderie on first Koffee with Karan and then Comedy Nights with Kapil. Actors Akshay Kumar and Shruti Hassan made their presence felt for an evening of fun and drama on the sets of the popular show Comedy Nights With Kapil recently. The duo were present to promote their upcoming film ‘Gabbar Is Back’ which is set for release on May 1, 2015. The show will be telecast today i.e Sunday April 26, 2015 at 10:00 pm on Colours TV. Hosted by well-known comedian Kapil Sharma, Comedy Nights With Kapil has a long list of celebrities who have made appearances on the show.

This time around, Akshay Kumar who has been seen in couple of episodes earlier too was enjoying himself with the cast. Actress Shruti Hassan also sang for the audience as part of the episode. The duo along with Kapil Dharma, Gutthi played by Sunil Graver and Kiku Sharda who plays Palak had a ball of a time, continuously rolling in fits of laughter throughout.

While no one seems to have any objection to the phrase 'Babaji Ka Thullu' that has been patented by Kapil Sharma on Comedy Nights With Kapil amd which is now rattled off by 5-year old kids all over the country, the censor board objected to a similar sounding phrase 'Babaji Ka Ghanta' in Farah Khan's Happy New Year. A member of the film's team spills the beans. "The term 'Babaji Ka Ghanta' was found to be vulgar by the censor board. We didn't want to use 'Babaji Ka Thullu' because it would have looked like we were copying Kapil. But when the censor board objected to 'ghanta' we had no choice but to replace it with 'thullu'."
