Beaver Brothers from Animal Planet - Family Fun

This is a charming show.

I fell into their world easily and happily. It is a fun, sometimes funny and always charming, interesting and real place.

They are not icons or perfect, they are just good people going about their business, which they make an interesting one, raised higher by their gentle respect for the "nuisance" animals they are called to "take care of." It is a world few people see in life or on television, but quite a few still inhabit.

In our stressful fast paced world, the rare shows like this one are a kind anodyne. The show is about people who have spent their entire lives close to the rhythms of the earth, so much so that they don't give it a thought themselves, it is just their world. But for many it will be a gentle wonder.
