Jimmy has tried to be a show of variety and class since the beginning, and I really was surprised that he managed to do that out of the big three. I honestly believed that he was going to regurgitate talking points but instead he stirred clear mostly of those things and gave a wide spectrum of audience what they want, comedy, or attempted comedy on the bad nights. Thanks Jimmy, you have proven to be consistent, I wish all the best for you if you continue your thing.

One of the few in the world that I download to watch sometimes.
Soft intelligent humor, accent, I've seen last Tequila day, so...
I believe he is a really nice person.
Hope I not wrong.
Congrats
This show feels like it is being made by high school kids who seem to have smoked to much weed. Nothing they do here is funny. Jimmy has no clue that his games he plays with his guest come across as lame/ Now everything he says is far from funny, His co-host /announcer is Steve Higgins. He comes across like someone that hosted a bad game show back in the 1960's. He is more annoying than Jimmy or his stupid games.
It would be nice if Jimmy would tone down his fake laugh. If he had a better producers that would tell him where his weak spots are. Watching this show reminds why that Steve Colbert is getting better ratings!

Wow, poor Jimmy has so many haters on here. So he's not your traditional late night talk show host. He doesn't come out, tell a few jokes and then sit there with his guests and talk the whole time. He has fun. He plays games, does funny skits, sings, dances, acts like a goof-ball....He's basically a 41 year old kid. Why shouldn't he be able to have fun? It's his show. Those bits on the Tonight Show that some call "dumb" or "childish" go viral every single week. So apparently there are a lot of people who love the show, Jimmy and the crazy things he does. Is the show perfect? No, not at all. I love Jimmy Fallon and the Tonight Show but I will admit there are improvements to be made. Some of his jokes can be a bit cheesy, it's a bit repetitive, especially when he goes into certain segments like "Hashtags" and "Thank You Notes." It's been the same way every week since Late Night and I do wish he would do something different now and then. But when Jimmy is off script, when he's just talking to his guests, laughing uncontrollably with them, when he gets caught off guard by a story he was not expecting, when he interacts with his audience, when he's telling about his latest injury or talking about his daughters who he absolutely adores, that's the Jimmy we love. He's not perfect and has never claimed to be. He's just a regular guy. That is, in my opinion, what attracts so many people to The Tonight Show. I'm not saying everyone in the world should become a fan of the show and Jimmy Fallon. It would be nice but I know it'll never happen. Just give him a break. He's a good person and a great choice for host of The Tonight Show.

It started a little slow but it is a great show. I think even the guests love going. I find it funny and refreshing and you really get to know a different side of the guests. Some of the games are really silly but for the most part he is incredibly funny and respectful with both, the audience and the guests. I frankly don't see anybody competing with him. We love Conan and have for years but since Fallon started airing, we don't watch Conan anymore. On a different note, Fallon is updated and seems to be more in the loop and in the know with younger audiences.. His interaction with the Roots is very funny and the games with the celebrities are creative. I assume he has a much bigger budget than other late night talk shows for the quality of his sketches and games. He really brings it in terms of having very current guests. The segments like #hashtag, or the books to never read are hilarious. I don't love the thank you notes but it seems like people do.

After reading some of these awful reviews, I thought I might have accidentally pressed the The Tonight Show Starring Jay Leno. He was awful, they needed a fresh face and a person who could resurrect the Tonight Show to its previous greatness. They hired the right man for the job, Jimmy Fallon. Jimmy is an outgoing, nice, talented and a great guy. His sketches are very funny, the monologues are interesting and funny, and the interviews are great, but some of the interviews vary in funniness, depending on the guest. Fallon is always very respectful and nice to the guest. Leno was getting old and he wasn't funny, it wasn't because of his politics. Jimmy Fallon is a lot more engaging with guests and more talented then Jay Leno. Yes, Jimmy is liberal, but he doesn't showcase his political views and is usually very fair when making jokes about conservatives and liberals. And really you shouldn't decide whether you like someone or not, because of their political views. If you do, then you already dislike 60 million Americans. These reviews of Jimmy are rather unfair, and I think you should watch a couple of episodes and judge for yourself. If you like him, then you can go to bed with a smile on your face, if you don't, then you get an extra hour of sleep. For what I've seen, Jimmy Fallon will do a great job as the host of the Tonight Show. Also, (Steve) Higgens is great and hilarious. I expect Fallon to be on air for the next 20 years. Thank you for reading my review.

I think he is hilarious. He seems to be really into his guest. I love all the funny games he has them play. The lip sync battle is the BEST!
Lorne Michaels deservingly owns late night on NBC. Since the 1970's, he has built an audience of millions of fans in multiple generations to tune in. Now with the Carson era ending with the departure of Leno, Late Night is changing and the goal of Lorne Michaels is to kill it! From the very beginning with Steve Allen and Jack Paar, the audience was made up of 40-80 year-olds who would drink coffee at night, eat cheese dip and fall asleep on the "lazy boy" with their curlers in their hair. As goes the demographic of late night, so goes the overall TV audience. The Baby Boomers grew up with Carson and inherited Leno and Letterman. That demographic is now in their 60's and are fading away. Many are starting to watch something else. The new audience that make up the large majority of Late Night TV will be the SNL crowd. Youngsters who are staying up late and anyone younger than Jimmy Fallon. The older generation has been shown the door for the most logical reason, TV is changing. The days of only having 3 channels on the television set have been forgotten. With hundreds of cable stations, pay per view, and the internet, the television audience has shrunk. The majority of fans that watch a certain show are no longer watching it live, but are watching it online the next day. Therefore, the audience of the future and the rating systems is going to change. If something great happened on Late Night on Tuesday, I'll watch it online Wednesday morning while on the way to work. With that said, the Jimmy Fallon Tonight Show can't be compared to any previous host of the Tonight Show. Much like Leno replacing Carson, it was a completely different show. For TV's new audience, you have 6 full nights of Saturday Night Live. And for the audience of old, you still of Letterman for a few more years.

Jimmy fallon isnt fun or funny HES SO FAKE! also he was the weakest link on snl when he was there how did he get his own talk show? because on weekend update tina carried him 100% GARBAGE SHOW
Late Night TV was in need of change, in order to stay relevant to the new generation of 18-49ers Jimmy Fallon is truly one of the most versatile comedian/actor/writer/producer/musicians etc. in show business and it is quite clear that Steve Higgins,a veteran writer/producer/actor/comedian/impersonator with a similar versatility with impersonations and organic sound effects, The Legendary Roots Band, known for their abilities to flawlessly play most relevant genres of music, masterfully craft comedy and music that caters to the millions of viewers (not to mention fans on all social media networks). Each element working in harmonious synchrony is what makes "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" the most successful late night programs on NBC reaching all ages of viewers.
I never understood how Fallon got the gig. When he was on SNL, he was the least talented of the cast, and couldn't even stay in character for a full skit. I've accidentally tuned into his version of the Tonight Show just because I was already watching NBC, and just shocked at how unfunny he is. The only thing I can think of is that they're going for a super young audience (which doesn't make sense in the late night crowd).
It's just pathetic. How has he lasted this long? From what I've read online he's basically just a mess (too fond of the booze). You'd think they'd at least employ halfway decent writers to make the monologue and major bits funny, but it's like he thought them up on his way to work (w a major hangover).
Tonight they were playing VR Pictionary. Just not funny or even mildly entertaining. It's just an awkward mess, like a HS talent show (only there you might see some actual talent).

This is absolutely the most pathetic version of the tonight show I've ever seen, fallon is not funny and brings no distinct impression the way the late johnny Carson and jay Leno, the set is atrocious, the lines are funny, the musicians are pathetic, joan rivers look as lost as usual and everything else is plain trash, I Remember when I Was the tonight show with johnny Carson back in the day, he has charm, style and heart that most talk shows don't have (even arsenio hall has that), but this guy is not funny, embarrassing, he is a globalist left wing garbage filth, just like the neocons, their all on the same boat, Junk, this is the worst tonight show of the last 60 years and it's a shame, because Carson and Leno truly made the show for what it is, laughter, time and honesty.
I Personally cannot wait for this fallon clown to be booted.

Celebratied its 60th birthday, now at its best with jimmy Fallon. The show is now broadcasting across the entire world, its simply the best late night show in television history.
The show is broadcasted in:
USA:NBC CANADA: CTV2 Australia: COMEDY CENTRAL, E EUROPE: cnbc Europe ( only with select providers)
As a daily watcher of a number of these sorts of shows is imply find this to be extremely unique in its kind.
Broadcasted on NBC, every day. The show takes several brakes, including before Christmas in mid December, April and during the last weeks of august.

I heard Jimmy Fallon once say that he would like the show to be something that gives a positive end to the day for someone. Being entertained right before you fall asleep. Well that is exactly what he does for me! The tonight show is very entertaining and Jimmy is the best host! He has a lot of charisma and you can tell that he is having fun in what he does. How contagious is that? I love the way he treats his guests. With respect, admiration and love. His skits are funny and the games are so much fun. Nothing wrong with having fun! The monologue is informative but funny. The Tonight Show is shown in the Netherlands so we are in luck. And yes we get all his jokes. So, my review is very positive, I look forward to every episode and I hope that Jimmy Fallon will be on for a long long time!

I don't understand all these negative reviews! This show is awesome, I watch every episode and LOVE Jimmy Fallon as host! Jimmy is the first host of a late show, that I can relate to and thus, I've watched almost every episode of his show. I love his sense of humor and his genuine personality. His sketches are so funny and his sense of humor is hilarious without being overly inappropriate. I hope that he says host for a long time! Keep up the good work!

Every night there is one thing you can expect from The Tonight Show hosted by Jimmy Fallon and that is ...every night you don't know what to expect Jimmy will do with his guests. I love the Roots band and emcee Steve Higgins and how they interact with Jimmy, his guests, and how the Roots band music brings this late night talk show to more than just a conversation but brightens an otherwise endless conversation to great blends of music, with dance, and with comical skits that interact with Jimmy and his guests that have us the viewing audience crying of laughter.
I have to assume that some of the Grade A stars that have appeared on the Tonight Show prepare well in advance to allow them to "step up their game" as they are introduced as tonights guest by Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show. If you think about it, Jimmy Fallon himself does not have the same opportunity to practise the routines/skits that he is expected to pull off alongside his guests since Jimmy is the host and is on every night of the week. I think a lot of people don't realize how much natural talent Jimmy Fallon has as the host of the Tonight Show as he interacts with his guests and sings, dances and does stand up comedy flawlessly each and every night.
Similar to Jimmy's previous TV talk show, that being "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" which he hosted from 2009-2014 before taking over the reigns on the Tonight Show from the well respected Jay Leno in 2014, you will notice how much fun all of Jimmy's guests are really having interacting with Jimmy. It is quite evident that Jimmy lives in the moment and he gets the most out of all of his guests who just seem to let go of all their inhibitions as they trust Jimmy will make them even more popular in the eyes of his audience.
Fact: Jimmy's return guests with the highest number of guest appearances are those politicians now running to become the next President of the USA in November 2016 led by Donald Trump himself with 27 guest appearances.
Fact: The Tonight Show averages 100 million views per week on YouTube such that NBC and YouTube have a financial agreement in the splitting of advertising revenue that The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon brings in.
Congratulations Jimmy Fallon on your great success with the most entertaining late night talk show and to all you naysayers stay tuned in 2020 when Jimmy Fallon celebrates his 1,500th episode.
A perfect 10 score!

Fallon is that kind of a friend who always needs to have the last word on everything. Like, if a topic comes up he just happens to know something about it or has to say something because he wants people to know that he's so smart and worldly and funny even though his facts are wrong. He's an okay, decent human being but I don't want to be around him for ten minutes.
As a host there is much to be desired. From his fake laugh and awkward clapping to his exclaiming that he loves everything and down to the poorly constructed jokes that he passes off as comedy. But it's okay because his flaws are a bit endearing.
However there is one thing that pisses me off so much. He constantly interrupts his guests. His need to always be the center of attention derails the show. For example the episode with Whoopie Goldberg where he asked two audience members to be the host for the night. I thought we would get 5 minutes of two strangers talking but instead Jimmy focused all the attention back on him by taking a selfie.
The most recent transgression is the episode with Martha Stewart. He acted like such a spoiled attention-seeking child, screaming at Questlove and Martha who were trying to make themselves heard.
This is a pattern he has with all of his guests. Whenever they talk about something or explain something or relate a story, Fallon will interrupt them with a story of his own.
The most obnoxious thing is when he does his interruptions he almost always stutters.
If you watch the show you know that he always does this. Like he can't form a coherent thought before opening his mouth.
That alone is what makes him the most incompetent host the world has ever seen.

Fallon doesn't have the raw guttural humor of someone like Ferguson, nor should he expected to be. Fallon's semi-worship of guests has actually toned down a bit....it may drop as he ages, or not.....sometimes people just don't change.
He does not have writers that create some of the inspired bits of other shows....maybe it's not that easy to find people like that. This show is more like a very conventional show than something created with a niche audience. He'll find a way to survive.
As for people making political accusations here, you sound like very grumpy people who can't watch anything on TV without demanding that everything should be your way.

Jimmy is hilarious, bright and witty. He is my favorite to watch. I have always dreamed of seeing the show live. A girl can dream. U ROCK JIMMY!
He's really in-tune with people and having conversations with them, he's a really good host. Hope to see more of him soon.

So let me start off by saying that Jimmy Fallon is doing alright so far. The fact that people hate him and are criticizing him is stupid, because he is "with the times".
Change has to happen eventually, but people seem to not be able to let go. I like Jimmy's material because he is so full of life and whenever he does one of his signature skits I can't help but laugh my butt off. Although he is not that active with the audience, he is very active with the celebs when they play the games. Because some talk shows are a big bore, while Fallon keeps the celebs entertained and that makes them happy when they are invited back to the show.
No, I am not some NBC guy because i am actually from Canada. But give Jimmy a chance, his Youtube account is flaring up and now we have Late Night with Seth Meyers which is not bad so far.
In conclusion, this is a great show. Don't jump on the bandwagon and stop watching the show because some butt hurt prick doesn't like this comical genius. It is funny and Jimmy will succeed with being the host, because whether you like it or not The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon's ratings are sky rocketing. And in 20 years you guys will be hating on Seth Meyers for taking Jimmy's spot in the Tonight Show :)
