The genesis was a film called Groupie that the film makers (Richard Anthony Dunford, Paul Trigwell and Tom Clear) made a year before. Stephanie Hazel played the part and has a supporting role in POV.
The abandoned care home, where filming took place was said to be haunted, and several cast and crew members felt a strange presence while working alone in some of the rooms, especially late in the evening.
The care home cost £1,000 to film at.
Additional builders lights, normally used on building sites, were purchased at the last minute from Wicks, for use at the care home, as most of the electricity there was out.
Lead actor Tom Clear is only visible in the opening scene, where he shoots the opening lines while staring into a mirror. The rest of the film was shot by him, with a camera fixed upon his head.
