This is the third film that Steven Seagal and Byron Mann team up. The first two films are Belly of the Beast and A Dangerous Man.
The film is meant to be a sequel to A Good Man (2014), which was a sequel to Force of Execution (2013), in which Steven Seagal also plays the character John Alexander.
Steven Seagal had both a MASSIVE heart attack and violent diabetic seizure in the first 30 minutes of filming. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he had bypass surgery and open heart surgery. The doctor asked director Keoni Waxman what led up to this to which Waxman explained that he would eat significant portions of food every chance he got. He also pointed out that he would steal other people's food, stand in front of them and stare at them as he ate it. He also added that he would randomly make his way to a local bakery and steal birthday cakes intended for little kids and eat them in just one bite. This angered the staff who would slap them out of his hands, which caused multiple fights with the cops being called.
Steven Seagal and Vinnie Jones got into a heated argument during a break. Steven got so mad that he stole Vinnie Jones' private jet he had on set. Jones rushed as Seagal was starting up the plane and their fight turned physical. The film crew started recording it as part of the movie. Steven Seagal was flying the plane all while reaching back and fighting Vinnie Jones. 2 minutes later, he had a violent diabetic seizure that saw him shaking like a leaf, foaming out of the mouth profusely, and his face turning purple. Jones tried to regain control of the airplane, but it was too late. The plane crashed into an airport, destroying the control tower, three planes, and a majority of the airport. This resulted in $900 million dollars worth of damages and 86 fatalities, including 4 crewmen who were on the plane with Seagal. Vinnie Jones was thrown out of the plane but miraculously survived.
