This show is pretty good. I think I got around halfway through before dropping it. Nanana's Buried Treasure has a fun cast, great voice actors, great animation and art, and an interesting premise. The fatal flaw is in the pacing.
This show tries to be a mystery-type story surrounded around solving puzzles. The thing about mysteries is that its best to frame them in a way that can easily be followed by the audience so that we can try to solve them along side the characters. The problem is that the pacing is way too fast, and on top of that the writers are trying to also create a very mysterious air. You can leave certain backstories and reasons behind events ambiguous, but the situations that are being shown and have characters interacting with need to be framed in a way that the audience can follow or figure out on their own.
Another thing that turned me away from this show is that its only 11 episodes long, and will never be continued, and apparently you never find out who Nanana's killer is and I don't want to deal with that kind of frustration.
Overall, this is a pretty good show that I'd probably recommend. Its fun, funny, and energetic. If you don't mind being pretty confused during the puzzle scenes and then feeling like an idiot when the "Master Detective" solves it all with information you weren't given, then go ahead and watch this.

It's a great show, but it only covers the beginning of the story. There are 12 light novels, but they have never been translated and might never be. I would pay a lot to get my hands on full translations of the series
