Early in the film, Dale stars in his own show titled Double-0-Dale. In the early 90s, Disney was developing a show called Double-0-Duck. This idea was scrapped when it was discovered that the title "Double-0" is owned by the estate of Ian Fleming, author of the James Bond novels. Double-0-Duck was reworked and became Darkwing Duck.
