Ms. Perron gives us a glimpse into the life of farmer, teacher, seed salesman and artist, Patrice Fortier, who lives in a remote part of Quebec where he grows heritage vegetables. His impressive horticultural knowledge, passion for getting his hands dirty and quirky-but-profound philosophical outlook on the beauty the world has to offer in all things that grow from a seed are all characters in this quietly rich documentary that spans seasons. Along with the wind... the ever-present wind. I saw this film at the 2014 Rocky Mountain Women's Film Festival, where the filmmaker attended, and was impressed by its beauty and intimate look into Patrice's life.
