Such a fun episode. It had everything from action Episode 2 raises the stakes, deepens the characters, and delivers both spectacle and soul. It pushes forward the narrative while giving us time to breathe and care. It is an episode that justifies the excitement around the season and leaves you eager for more.
Okay, okay, we get it, he's a flawed human being and so are his friends. So are we all. No need to keep hammering us over the head with it. Can we get on with some actual story now instead of this lazy, cheap to produce relationship crap?!
Producers think they're tricking us into watching this stuff. First a great first season with excellent production values, and then they try to cash in the next season with a bunch of close up shots of people talking to each other. Soooo much cheaper to produce than that first season.
They used to wait until season three to start sneaking this stuff in. Now its just BANG, first thing second season. No wonder most of these series can't make it to season three.

I know a lot of people are going to hate this episode for being kind of slow, but i thought it did a great job of introducing the rest of the cast for this season. Probably the most i've laughed at an episode of peacemaker thus far. Seriously. Bird blindness? How does james gunn think of this stuff?
I will say i vigilante was funnier in s1, but thats really just due to his (lack of) screen time in this episode. He's still the funniest character in this show, hoping he'll get a good amount of screen time later but i also understand if he takes more of a backseat with this more serious tone.
To be honest, i wasn't a huge fan of harcourt until now but i appreciate her more as a character with each episode. I had kind of written her off as the basic tough female spy with little personality other than being cold to ppl and honestly i thought she was kind of boring. Obviously harcourt had more going on than that, but i felt like i couldn't truly be interested in her character until i saw where the slow burn is going. She is i am continually impressed by john cena. His acting was never bad in season 1, but his performance this season is so much more nuanced, intricate and heartfelt.

Solid action scenes, (especially Eagly against ARGUS), much more character depth in this episode. Harcourt taking her anger out any chance she gets, Adebayo and Keeya having a little argument (Adebayo gets a reality check), and us getting to about Economos' struggle with anxiety. Fleury was the funniest character in this episode although some of his lines felt a little forced.
Why didn't anybody tell me Tim Meadows was in this show. Him popping up in the episode was a surprise to me beacuse I haven't watched the trailers and promotional stuff.
He was hilarious in this episode. I want more of him. Now I have to wait another week.
Nobody can can convince me Jhon Cena is a bad actor. He is so good in this show.

- TriviaFleury's bird blindness is not a real disability; although it is based upon the real life Prosopagnosia, or face blindness, according to James Gunn.
- GoofsThere's no way Eagly's heroic scene could have ended with no blood splatter all over his beak and body. But somehow he is completely clean.
