The title is a reference to the first chapter of Michael Crichton's sequel novel: The Lost World.
Jackson and Harrison got their names from the Dino Trackers, characters invented just for the line of Jurassic Park toys. They consisted of "Harpoon" Harrison, "Jaws" Jackson, and "T-Rex" Turner. Turner was in the original script, but was dropped for pacing.
The 'JP' logo on the raptor's tag is the exact same symbol found of the raptor toy from the movies.
