This family is much easier to watch than the Brown's, and to me more entertaining. The Brown's just have too much drama where as the Williams seem to have more family values and get along better.
Brady talks to his wives, whereas Kody from Sister Wives talks at his.
Also Brady's kids seem to have more respect for him.
I don't believe this show 'glorifies' polygamy, but more just shines a light on it for those who may be curious about it and hopefully help people understand that people all make different lifestyle choices.
I would recommend this show to anyone who who has any questions about polygamy, just keep in mind no one polygamy family is the same.

My heart just breaks for the women & children in this show. Wish we could send a SWAT team out to rescue them from the oppression.
Each one of the wives claims they've been married to Brady for 15 - 24 years each, but divide that time by five wives & they've each been married to him for about 3 - 6 years when you reflect on the rotated marriage nights, & from a quantitative perspective.
Most the wives lament about husband Brady not knowing them and being absent/away so much. As Brady's character develops through the episodes, you pick up quickly that he's relatively incompetent & spread too thin, but continually fakes that he is a quality husband & father.
Seeing how kind the wives are, you hope they'll escape and find their own happiness. But until then, they settle for whatever scraps their husband tosses them.
Oh, and that episode where the little blonde son was sick & Brady was jostling him around In a crazy manner & then the dad "pretended" he figured out the car seat~ What on earth? After that, he hugged the right shoulder of the road while driving to the doctor appointment & then, he treated his son to sugary ice cream 'right after' his bloodwork to test for juvenile diabetes... What the heck? Can this Dad/Husband do 'anything' right?
These moms appear to be choosing to spend theIr time in a "forever sorority" & just trying to stay busy vs. acting as though their personal happiness/fulfillment matters at all.

I loved this show and all the family members. I agree 100% with the other reviewer that this show is way better than Sister Wives. It it so much better, I don't watch the other one. I used to watch them both, but since this one was stopped, I stopped watching the other. I think that this show involved more of the wives and the husband did not take an overall "boss" attitude. Looking at what the future brought the other show, I bet TLC are kicking them. Miss this show, but at least they post video's on you tube and they keep those that loved the show up to date with their lives. I hope they come back!

Truly Authentic Show! Honesty sells more than Drama-"Sister Wives"! I'd love to personally know all of u. Great personality's, genuine, and very honest! Please keep the show that way! Thank You , FAITHFUL WATCHER.
Like the previous reviewer, I like this family / program better than the leading show... but I like the other family, too. This family just seems to be more their "authentic selves".

I like these people! And this show is much more entertaining than Sister Wives. None of that idiotic, manufactured, nonsense drama like they vomit up on that other show, over and over. And there is not one narcissistic, self-absorbed psychopath like Christine Brown, who takes over as the center of attention in every scene she's in on that inferior show.
I have to laugh at the so-called feminists who left scathing reviews for this show, whining about how these "victimized" women need to be "rescued". Wow, it's interesting to learn that you don't think they're smart enough to make they're own decisions about their lives and that you know better how they should live. So pathetic. Don't watch if you have a problem with any of it.
