ytho?
Wow that was so painfully pedestrian, predictable and boring. It's every film we've seen in this genre, but with all the cliched overused boring parts. Even with fairly decent pacing, the normally quick runtime of 99 mins felt like I was watching this for almost 3 hours. Just a bunch of blah blah nonsense dialogue and long dragged out extended scenes thrown in with the occasional decent action choreography. I'm a big fan of KB but she deserves much better than this, as do mostly all the other cast, who tried their best with the horrible screenplay they had to work with. Both the writer and director need to find new hobbies, as filmmaking is not one of them. A very generous 5/10 for decent cast performances and what little action there was.
Great Cast, NO Script
I abandoned this after ten minutes. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
This is the most generic London gangst script and had as much dramatic and emotional grip as a greasy wet fish.
Despite the presence of a great cast they appear to have been given mush to chew on.
As I didn't bother more than the first scenes I can't comment on whether there's anything better in there. If the first scenes don't hold you then nothing will, and this had nothing unique.
Characters were your typical London generic ones straight of the second hand stock cupboard, the cold nasty little old lady gangster versus the grizzled, foul-mouthed old git, plus the standard generic newcomers, blah-blah-blah.
Of course these ideas can work, if you get the style and the threads of the story right, look at Mobland for example, but it takes a special touch to your short and curlies to yank your attention, and this hasn't got it.
Go find something else, anything else before it has you crying at how you found yourself watching this mush.

Not worth the time, sorry.
Wow... my biggest takeaway from this movie is how different Kate Beckinsale looks! A ton of lip filler for one. Well a lot of facial work tbh. She never needed the facial work she was always pretty!! And I'm sorry but it looks like she's on Ozempic.. I'm calling it how it is. The movie is just all over the place. I couldn't even pay attention to it. The difference in how Kate looks just took my attention off of everything sorry...
What did Kate do to herself
Old used up story, watched because of the actress. She has changed herself (for the worse) & the movie was more "English" in the storyline & quality. Huge disappointment with way around. Very predictable & tired. Kate needs to stick to what she's good at & stop trying to modify her looks. Far too many flashbacks & jump forwards throughout trying to build substance but it's simply unwatchable by 30 minutes in.
What happened to her face?
Yes, yes, British action film, la di da. Boom Boom. Everything's fine; unfortunately, everything's also rather average. What bothered me about the whole film was the mask-like face of the leading actress.
What on earth happened there? In several scenes, Kate is almost unrecognizable.
Yeah, yeah, mean reviewer. Sexist. What could have happened? Life happens. People get older, women too. Everyone is free to optimize their body as they wish. Yes, that's true. That's what makes these lines so ambivalent.
The film business is tough. Especially on women. True. Unfortunately.
I want to see tough women in movies. A female version of Liam Neeson. With wrinkles and an unadulterated face! Hollywood, or rather the film- and television-business, is sexist anyway - through and through. We - the audience - have to counteract that.
For me, this film is another personal warning sign of how business drives beautiful people in the wrong direction. Wildcat makes me sad.
I would like to apologize for the rather subjective criticism. But the film affected me deeply. I was almost a little shocked. But not by the plot or the film itself.
