Genuinely one of the best episodes!! It was intense, thrilling and kept me on the edge of my seat (and close to tears). Literally had all the things I love so much about this show - why I became obsessed with it during S1. The teamwork and bond is so special between them and it only adds to why this episode was superior. It really brought back all the emotions and memories as to why I binge watched every episode as soon as I started. Amazing work, cannot wait for the next part.
And so happy Ravi finally got more screentime. He's such a great addition. Loving the Buck and Ravi friendship too.
Crossing my fingers they all make it out alive next week!!

Truly one of the best episodes in 8B. The acting is phenomenal and Oliver stark truly shows some of the best emotion I've ever seen before. I understand people are upset Eddie isn't there, but this is only HALF of the story for this story line. We never know what could happen next! I think it was very well thought out and I get chills every time I think of buck yelling trying to get help. I've been a fan of this show for so so long, and it truly just keeps getting better and better. Glad it was renewed and hopefully it gets many more seasons. I can't wait for next week to see what plays out next!
I always look forward to the action-packed multi-part emergencies that 9-1-1 has become known for each season. The tsunami episodes of Season 3 are an all-time fave and this one is quickly becoming tied for that title. I love a good thriller and this episode kept me edge of my seat for the full hour. Everyone brought their A game - cast, crew, writer, director, etc. Oliver Stark (Buck), Anirudh Pisharody (Ravi), and Kenneth Choi (Chimney) were stand-outs for me, delivering some of their best performances yet. This episode is a prime example of what makes 9-1-1 so compelling - a strong team dynamic, over-the-top action, writing that is heartwarming, thrilling, and funny all at the same time, and so much heart.

Great episode, very intense. A petty bureaucrat and an unethical scientist being the real villains, so true. I'm a bit confused by Athena's insistence on not letting her kids stay with her, especially since Harry is barely 18 at most. But eh, at least they're both back. I liked Ravi's arc in this episode, and that he and Buck returned to their normal dynamics.
""Sick Day" is one of 9-1-1 BEST EPISODES in a long time, it actually reminded me the tsunami arc in S3, the stakes felt so high leaving it every at stand still for our beloved characters, the show needs more thrills like these in order to continue for many more seasons.

There may have been a few things that I felt were maybe a smidge rushed. But overall, this was an intense, fast-paced, and powerful episode. The acting for everyone is incredible. It's so good to see moments from characters we haven't seen a lot from, like Ravi. Giving him his moment and continuing to develop his friendship with Buck was excellent to see.
The set up with the guest stars was also excellent. Great actors all around.
The action was great, the acting superb, and Buck and Athena's dynamics are such a joy to see on this show. I do not understand how they will resolve this in the next episode.
Major kudos to the writers Lyndsey Beaulieu & Taylor Wong and director Karla Braun. Welcome to 9-1-1 Karla.
