Jai-hong Juhn was originally set to direct but dropped out due to creative differences and replaced by Hong-Seung Yoon.
Director Chang used to be a former music video director before his first full length feature film in 2008. He made videos for Korean pop superstars like GOD, BoA, T-Ara, SG Wannabe, and more.
