Good to see films about the Armenian genocide because there aren't many about this horrendous atrocity. This one is very low budget so don't expect anything like the recently made The Promise. Probably the weakest part of this film is the acting, especially main actress who is also the director and the boy are very amateurish. Also the Turkish characters are very one dimensional. It's an American production, actors speak English with their native accents, it would have been more authentic if they would talk Armenian/Turkish. Overall if you're interested about the subject watch it but don't expect too much from this film.

This movie is historically inaccurate and aims at playing on the Christianism sensitive cord and depicting turks amd muslims as barbarians. This is purely for propaganda of the sensitive people who believe everything they see on screen.
