Confidence Queen

I watched both the Japanese version and and watching the korean version and I prefer Korean version more. I love how the leads have their backstories in this version. Park Min-young never disappoints and she looks visually mesmerising here in this drama. Love how they are scamming the bad people in their mission to clean out the dirty laundry of the society. Such a refreshing drama and so much fun. The chemistry between the 3 leads is so incredible.

I honestly don't understand what you're looking for in this drama. It has a fresh style, and you can already tell from the storyline and the first two episodes! Just because it doesn't match your personal taste doesn't mean the drama is bad. As the cast and crew mentioned, this is a fun and entertaining show! So please don't go searching for deep romance or heavy meanings - instead, just enjoy it for what it is.

As a fan of Park Min Young and a K-drama lover, I'm proud that she had the courage to take on this kind of role, and she's doing an amazing job with it - a role that not everyone can pull off! So if you don't like the drama for any reason, that's totally fine, but just don't watch it. We really don't need negative or destructive comments.

I love Park Min Young but this series isn't good. The premise has potential. A team of three targets unpunished bad people with confidence scams and usually exact some financial punishment on them. Each segment takes 2 episodes. There is also an ongoing mystery about her childhood kidnapping. It's quite fun to see the costumes disguises and the clever set ups. PMY has a field day dressing up in all sorts of outfits from stewardess to doctor to movie star to hillbilly. Her two partners also have some funny disguises.

It's a bit far fetched how they can get so many involved in the deceptions. And how much it would cost to pull them off. I liked some more than others. The cosmetics one with Oh Na Ra was good. Some of the segments are tedious.

But things move slowly and often painfully unfunny. Also the costars are not attractive enough. Joo Jong Hyuk is not handsome and Park Hee Soon is old looking. Better actors as the leading men would have helped.

Not a must watch unless you are a PMY fan. PMY by the way looks great here. Not too thin at all.

This series is great, with a captivating plot, tons of fun, and a lovely Scooby-Doo vibe.

Park Min Young is splendid in this series (as always) and hilarious.

I also loved Park Hee-Soon's multifaceted character, and I shouldn't forget to mention that I laughed a lot with Joo Jong-Hyuk's character. Honestly, the entire cast, including the guest appearances, is excellent.

Confidence Queen offers a refreshing twist to the typical drama genre. The first episode may feel a bit disorienting, with pacing that doesn't quite settle and a lead character whose exuberant personality might be hard to connect with initially.

However, as the series progresses, particularly by the second episode, the character's depth begins to unfold. What initially seemed like over-the-top behavior starts to reveal layers of complexity, suggesting a backstory that adds richness to her role.

One of the standout features of the show is the exceptional chemistry among the three lead actors. Their interactions feel genuine and engaging, making each scene more enjoyable to watch.

Additionally, the series incorporates moments of humor that lighten the mood and enhance the overall viewing experience.

While Confidence Queen may not follow the conventional storytelling path, it offers a unique and compelling narrative that is worth exploring. If you're seeking a drama that breaks the mold, this show is a commendable choice.
