At the end of the movie there is a reference to the Fallen Linemen Organization. Then you realize the importance and dangers of this particular job. Fallen Linemen Organization's mission is to memorialize fallen electrical line workers, and care for the families who have lost or are impacted by a severe injury of a loved one in the line of duty. We strive to consolidate accident and injury information to share openly for a safer work environment.

Before its release, the movie needed massive re-editing/rewriting/reshooting to be able to be assembled in a coherent and entertaining way since the first cuts and private test screenings were received very poorly.

Filmed at a country bar in Langley, British Columbia; Gabby's Country Caberet for a bar and fight scene.

John Travolta and Devon Sawa would both later go on to star in The Fanatic (2019).

Director David Hackl previously worked with Julie Benz on Saw V (2008). Louis Ferreira, who also appears in Life on the Line, starred in Saw IV (2007), which Hackl served as production designer on.
