This movie is a no budget project done by an amateur father and a son. Given that, it is well done. Solid story that could have been a Hollywood movie in the 90s. Being that I from the town it was filmed in, I like seeing a movie where I know the locations filmed. The fact that it has made it to streaming services shows how decent it is despite no outside funding.
If you try to compare it to studio movies, you will be disappointed. Understand where it came from and you will be pleasantly surprised. Worth the watch if you can do that. Reminds me of the slew of detective movies in the 90s. Overall, I enjoyed it.

Worst movie I've ever seen don't watch. Would have given a negative rating if possible. - low production -no budget - Seriously so bad. I can't believe we wasted our time. Give me my time back. I really can't even gather "10 lines" of text for this movie it doesn't deserve it. Acting is also -100/10. Where did you find these people? Special effects were non existent. I'm actually angry at how bad this "movie" was.
The "mayo" family should be barred from attempting to make any more movies."
Hello? How bad can bad be, one wonders? But then, one must factor in the pattern of the "self-annointed" self-righteousness of those who cling to the myth of original sin.

Terrible Acting + Terrible Script = Terrible Film. The premise would have worked but everything else got in the way plus the needless amount of profanity seemed laughable.

I liked this movie. The story is like an engrossing mystery novel, the plot is solid, the religious discussions fairly thoughtful, good ending. I quite liked the low budget, low production values independent thing,it almost added something, made it more gritty. The acting was a little amateurish at times. But I'm willing to make some allowances for a good mystery storyline, they're few and far between.
The spiritual nature of this movie was thought-provoking and touching. The ending was heartbreaking. The characters were all broken in some way, except possibly the priest. The premise of the story is what made the movie appealing- I don't think it is the type of film that needed any special effects or extraordinary features. "Dave" was the only character acted in a sub-par way. He was not believable and gave up the villain sooner than perhaps another actor would have done. However, it was still an engaging effort and definitely not a waste of
time, as per other reviewers. I can't say I enjoyed it, because the ending was so sad. I appreciate the movie and its spiritual nature... its effect on my heart will not be forgotten.
