Sad that curly haired baboons are already giving 1 and 2 star ratings. The way they handled the Old Neil stuff was so peak. The first half was also handled really well. The flaws in the previous episodes are no more. They also covered all the important stuff in the novel without anything cut out. I wish we got a tarot meeting before the advancement.
I cant wait for the next episodes ,they are going to be crazy.

This is geniunely such a heart breaking episode, lotm peaked at this ep since it started at ep 1 and will continue to do so, this deserves a better rating than all the previous eps or in par with ep 6 if not more, the musics and the cinematography were perfevtly done, the characters emotions were portrailled in such a good way.

What was that episode? Just why? I couldn't cry. I just couldn't. It was so overwhelming I just sat there and watch it happen. Every single thing in this episode was perfect. Klein didnt say a word but we all felt the same pain. This is the definition of perfection. Why Old Neil? Why did you listen to such a shady organization. Now who will teach us at mystisism classes 😭 I am at loss of words. Rest in peace Old Neil. You will me missed.
11/10 episode. The best episode so far. Lord of the Mysteries is peak fiction ✋😭🤚

Supernatural power, human-surpassing abilities, abstract concepts, knowledge of the beyond, and unnatural instincts are some of the powers that come with being a beyonder. If I were in high school, would this not be the coolest thing to become? But this, and the other episodes in this later part of the series have been touching upon the dark side of the beyonder world. Mysteries, horror, evil gods, corruption, temptation and now, it touches upon the prospect of what happens when your own ally, someone you share dinner with, becomes a monster after being corrupted? This episode follows one of the members of our Nighthawks getting corrupted, by what? The Hidden Sage. The show gave this information rather indirectly, Crester Cesimir, Klein's test-taker told him to be careful of taint from the high sequence beyonder of his pathway, in case they may be evil existences. While Klein himself may not have any need of that yet, another Nighthawk member from the Mystery Pryer pathway was indeed getting tainted by his pathway's 'deity' level figure (I think), The Hidden Sage. It shows the absolute fear and dominance of a high sequence beyonder within one's pathway, and we have already seen how Zaratul may be connected to the fate etched for Klein, which could very well be a taint from him to a lower sequence beyonder of the Seer pathway.
Regardless, this episode focused on the emotional aspect of losing one's comrade to corruption, and needing to eradicate them of it. It is a painful episode and perhaps a reality for many in the beyonder world, this is just the start of what awaits for us.

This episode has so many things woven beautifully together. I liked the cinematography and story writing pretty well. The characters had very good emotional depth in this episode and Klein's newfound powers bring excitement and anticipation for future events.
Overall the episode stays true to the source material while also well paced and emotionally touching through the clever use of the visuals.
