I enjoyed it a lot and it was entertaining as beans. I recently completed vol 1 of the novel and I must say that although parts are missing it was nice to have an episode that was paced reasonably and didn't skip as quickly through content like the first few episodes. It's honestly frustrating how some people immediately jump to leave a 1-star review without even giving the story a proper chance. Thirty minutes after release, and somehow they've already "decided" it's bad? Come on. This isn't constructive criticism, it's blatant sabotage!
If you genuinely have issues with the story, that's fair, but at least watch it before judging. This kind of trolling ruins the experience for new viewers who are excited to dive into something new.
Stop the hate folks. Respect the work. Give it time. Real fans anime/donghwa know the value of patience. Its slow burn for a reason.
Side note: Melissa looks so cutee, don't worry about Klein tho he's not a pedo 😅

The episodes have been getting better and better as the series goes on. The pacing has been slowing down and covering more information as well. It's genuinely nice to see as a lord of the mysteries fan who has been reading it since like last year and I'm still on volume 3 because I'm just too busy writing my own novel inspired by it. I actually cannot wait for the last episode and cry once again. Or even the other volume endings.
But these haters bro, they're crying that lotm is doing very well womp womp cry about it, the rating doesnt even matter anyway. And the fact that the other episode are still above 9.0 is laughable. Do better lol.

I have to say I'm very happy with this 4th episode, while I do admit that they added quite a bit of scenes that I cant exactly remember from the novel, they still kept it fully true to the world building and plot.
Really happy with how they are animating the more gruesome scenes and transformations, good to know that they're doing the body horror elements in LOTM justice.
I wish we got to see more of Klein acting as a seer, but I'm assuming that'll come in later episodes.
Overall, I'd say that the trajectory of this episode, compared to the previous ones, really gets my hopes up for the rest of the series.
Great visuals, great storytelling, only superficial gripe would be the lack of side character development as of yet.

Background: cinematic - 10/10.
Through this episode, we can understand a little bit why the Antigonus family's diary fell into the hands of Welch, Naya and Klein. Welch and Naya died because of the curse of the diary, while Klein (Zhou) "luckily survived". Therefore, Klein became the target of the evil organization and Hannas Vincent designed a trap to interrogate Klein about the diary. But thanks to the gray fog, Klein was lucky to avoid the trap and Vincent was killed. Dunn and Klein went to Vincent's house to investigate, Dunn used his ability to see Vincent's memories but saw the projection of the True Creator.
