When 'Nic' is in a heated discussion on the phone with 'Kat' we see her take off a pair of gloves in frustration and throw them to the side. A few seconds later in the same conversation 'Nic' is again wearing the left glove and we see her take it off again and throw it to the side.
When he feeds the alligators, he first throws meat and the gators quickly snatch some up, but when he throws the human leg they completely ignore it. Of course they couldn't use a real human leg.
When watching her boyfriend hit a punchbag in the night, the girl covers her breasts with her hands. This is clearly for the audience, is unnatural and makes no sense in context, given her avocation.
