Ace cinematographer Rajeev Ravi made his directorial debut with Annayum Rasoolum in 2013 and went on to direct Njan Steve Lopez and Kammatti Paadam later on. He is now all set to direct his fourth film which will have the most happening young actor in Mollywood Nivin Pauly. Touted to be a biopic on the popular writer and theatre artiste, Nn Pillai, Nivin will be playing the lead role in it.

Elizabeth Ekadashi, directed by Paresh Mokashi, will screen as the opening Feature Film of the Indian Panorama section at the 45th International Film Festival of India 2014. The other highlights in the feature-film section include Kaushik Ganguly’s Chotoder Chobi, Rajat Kapoor’s Ankhon Dekhi, Rajeev Ravi’s Njan Steve Lopez, Shaji N. Karun’s Swapaanam and Avinash Arun’s Killa.

The Last Adieu by Shabnam Sukhdev has been chosen as the Opening Film of the Non-Feature Film section of Indian Panorama 2014.

National award-winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi’s second directorial venture, the Malayalam-language film Njan Steve Lopez, is releasing all over India with English subtitles on August 15.

Rajeev Ravi is the cinematographer of films like Dev D, Gangs Of Wasseypur 1 & 2, Liar’s Dice and the upcoming Bombay Velvet.

His film, which is titled I Am Steve Lopez in English, will open in over 40 cities of India including Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Mysore, Pune, Ahmedabad and Kolkata.

This is Rajeev’s second film as a director, after Annayum Rasoolum in 2013.

Featuring Farhaan Faasil and Ahaana Krishna, I am Steve Lopez has been produced by Collective Phase One and Jar Pictures in association with M.R. Filmworks and Media Mill. E4 Entertainment, the national distributor of the film has Fox on board as the sub- distributor for certain regions outside Kerala.
