Andrew Gomez ( Andrew Puente ) was intentionally given the name Andrew by writer/director, Avery Anthony, because he immediately thought of Puente when the character was created.
The diner scenes in season one were all filmed on the same day and had to be filmed twice. The first time, which was scheduled to be the final day of filming, there was a malfunction with the CF card and the footage was lost.
Everything is filmed at the same time like a movie, not episodically.
In "About Two Years," Sebastian ( Bryan Cid Borrero ) points out that he was the only one on time for once. This was a gag reference to the fact that Borrero was late to set everyday except the final day in which they shot the diner scene in "About Two Years."
In the original draft of season one, the character Eric, ( Peter Denz ) that appears in 1.4 "About Two Years," was not written to appear again. Just before filming began, 1.7 "About A Comedy Club" was rewritten and Eric was added to make the dinner party more awkward.
