It is a good film that succeeds due to focusing on the human condition. Do you listen to your significant other or do you only listen to yourself? Do you place temporary satisfaction over long-term enjoyment? Do you truly observe what is going on around you or do you sleepwalk through life?
Each minute is used to tell a story that makes you want to know more about the characters. How did the couple meet? Is Speedy what he appears to be or is he something much darker? Does he want his stated outcome or is he interested in the journey itself?
All in all, I enjoyed it. I would not have a problem recommending the film to my friends. It definitely deserves a full-length presentation. It has the potential for a sequel and possibly a trilogy depending on where the story goes.

At first you meet a man who wants to drug himself up to escape the stress induced life that his girlfriend creates, only to find that the man he is trying to buy drugs from is not what you expect!
I found this film to be very thrilling and exciting for being a short film, you notice that the film picks up quickly after a brief introductory of the characters. It's fascinating that at the end all the characters are intertwine to each other and it only pulls the story forward. This is a great introductory project for those aspiring directors and cast members part of this film, look forward to see what they come up with in the future.

oh yes these little gems like this movie Cycle are wonderful, you can thank films like for a bringing a breath of fresh air to the film genre. This piece of art has a wonderful surprising twist at the end... The tension building was so masterfully done that it was terrifying, to reveal the antagonist. The storyline was believable (in a real way) and it played off well, with a convincing main actor, and that situation looked frightening. The last scene was creepy and unexpected. You got talent. Keep up the good work. I would like to find a lot of great work through this filmmaker Eric Zettina in the future., he puts up a lot of quality projects like this. I'm sure he'll make more great little masterpieces of art like this one. Just some food for thought. Happy viewings...;)

There was a lot of content in "Cycle", especially when you take into consideration that this is only a 3 minute film. At first, you think that Chris is there simply to complete the illicit drug transaction from Speedy...then the plot turns. I'm not going to give anything away, but I will say that it is an excellent work indeed...leaving me wanting more. The acting was first rate throughout, especially Eric Zettina as Speedy and Jeremy Connors as Chris. Aime Farrington's performance as Addison gave credence as to why Chris was in the state that he was in, trying to cope with the situation of the total mistrust in his and Addison's relationship. Hopefully this is only the first film in a series because I wait with high anticipation just where the plot will take me next!
