As The F-18 Was About To Land On The Carrier, There Were Other Aircraft On The Fan Tail (The Rear Of The Ship). There was Also Equipment Lined Up On The Flight Deck. In The Very Next Scene You Can See From The Cockpit Of The F-18 The Planes And Equipment Are Gone. Then As The F-18 Veered Away, All The Planes and Equipment Was Back. None Of The Planes Or Equipment Except For What Would Be Needed For Flight Operations Would Have Been Permitted On The Flight Deck. Having Them There As A Plane Was Coming In Would Have Caused A Catastrophic Accident.
