This is an excellent, first rate series and way better than the original in my opinion. Anthony Michael Hall is utterly perfect as Johnny. He has that certain something that gives his character great intensity and warmth. I'm not the biggest TV fan anymore but with this show, I am totally on the edge of my seat. Take another look at Anthony Michael Hall, he is superb.

Great cast, great directing, great plots...this is what good entertainment should be about. I highly recommend it to all.

We've seen countless of Scrooge movies with the male actors taking the lead in this classic fairy tale but this is the female version playing the Scrooge part. Ally Walker and Hayden Panettiere give wonderful, heartfelt performances. I've been a fan of Ally Walker and was delighted to see her in this role--she's perfect! Although this film is not available on the internet for sale, I got the DVD at Staples and was immediately drawn to its story line. I'm glad I discovered this film as the old Christmas films were started to get too "old" for me. This was truly a gem of a find!

The film was a real bore and lacked chemistry between the cast. Good effects but bad actors not even George Clooney's presence improved it. Diane Lane (looking very weathered) was the worst. Isn't she a bit too old to play the love interest of the very overrated Mark Wahlberg...don't waste your time with this one.
