  • WOW, this is bad on an epic scale

I watched it because Bruce Willis was attached and Amazon Prime pointed me in this direction.

I was amazed by how horrible every part of this movie was. It literally has no redeeming qualities. I'm genuinely surprised that Bruce Willis and Rachel Nichols agreed to participate in this farce. I get that Johnny Messner needs a paycheck, but even he should have turned this down.

    Don't waste your time.

  • "buckets of money"

Who thought of the concept of "buckets of money"? That is idiotic in the extreme. A bucket of pennies is worth much less than a bucket of $100 dollar bills (stuffed tight). Nobody in their right mind would rent a house based on "buckets of money." They would always insist on a set dollar amount. I'm willing to suspend disbelief about everything else in the movie, but that is too much.

  • Avoid this movie

Quite possibly the worst movie I've ever been subjected to, and I've seen "Blood Sucking Freaks" and "Stupid Teenagers Must Die". I hoped for something insightful about the Nephalim, but all I got was a quote from the Book of Enoch at the beginning of the movie. The movie itself really had nothing to do with the Nephalim. Everything about this movie sucked: the script, the acting, the cinematography, the sound, etc. I'll go out on a limb and say that it wasn't rated because the MPAA members couldn't sit through the whole movie.

Avoid this movie like the plague. If you're looking for a movie about the Nephalim, at least upgrade to "The Prophecy II".

If you were in any way associated with the making of this movie, please never attempt to work in the film industry again. Seriously. Not even homemade porn. OK, maybe Jenna Prosser, but that's it.

  • How bad can a movie be?

That is the question answered by this movie. I love Milla Jovovich, and I figured this movie would be on par with the Resident Evil flicks. Boy was I wrong. Normally, even in a bad movie there's still SOMETHING that's at least adequate about it. This movie, however, had bad acting, a bad plot, bad special effects, bad cinematography, bad lighting...everything. Even the ultimate goddess Milla sucked. I might have been able to justify my $9 ticket and $7 for food if they had at least shown a full-frontal nudity shot of her, but alas all we got was the backside.

There were two cool sci-fi concepts in the movie (zero-space storage and some kind of gravity device), but the effects used to display them sucked horribly. I wouldn't mind seeing those ideas resurface in a worthwhile project.

Please don't waste your money on this movie. It will only lead to more movies like it.
