This movie Reprisal needs a reprisal with a new writer and director and even cast because it is an entirely, absolutely and completely implausible film from casting a handsome bodybuilder type man with tats as a banker, to the corny clichés throughout. Don't waste your time. The actress who plays the wife acted pretty well considering she's mostly just a beauty and fashion influencer. Bruce Willis' acting was pretty poor in this film, so the director has blame as well someone should have noticed on set. However, the writer is the real problem and should go back to their day job because everything from concept to conclusion was absolutely terrible...

This shows concept is good. I have not seen the original so perhaps it is just the American version that should be curbed. Beyond the first season, which was quite good, I've found the best way to watch the remaining seasons is to record the show. Skip the intro, all commercials, and anytime a "couple" is on the screen, especially Murphy, skip forward until the next segment. Their stories are useless, boring, and do nothing to advance the medical stories. It's usually absurd whinging and arguing over nothing. Skipping it allows you to watch the important parts and frees up your time to watch another show or talk to your spouse instead of concerning yourself with fake ones on TV. Life is too short, and a medical drama should know this. New Amsterdam now has this problem too. British shows seem to waste less of the viewers time on such folly.
