Marger-'s rating
With so many praising reviews, this must be fantastic movie. Right? Wrong. I have no clue why almost every reviewer rewards this movie with a 9/10 or 10/10. If this is one of the best movies you guys ever saw, then please go watch some real movies.
I expect to actually laugh or at least have some smiles when watching a comedy. About 40 minutes into the movie I realized I hadn't even smiled once. Where are the jokes? I have a very broad taste in humor and like both sophisticated and lame jokes, but I had a really hard time trying to find any jokes in 'Where do we eat'. Of course, after those 40 minutes I couldn't stand it any longer and switched it off, so maybe the last 50 minutes really explode from all the fun.
It didn't seem that the movie is really bad, it's just not funny. Pitch this as a family drama and it might be sort of acceptable. As a comedy, I can't rate it over 4/10.

I saw a sneak preview of this movie today, so I had no idea what to expect when I saw the title appear on screen. The film is a little slow paced, so at first I just wanted more information to know what kind of movie it would be. Soon I found myself yearning for more information along the storyline, and that feeling stayed until the end. The movie sort of sneaks up on you, drags you inside and doesn't let go.
Julius Morlang is an artist in his mid fifties who lives at the Irish coast with his wife Ann. Aside from what seems a couple of random images, the movie starts by showing a happy Morlang. Soon we are taken back two years and an intriguing plot unfolds.
I liked the directing and the camera work a lot. A lot of shots struck me as being of the right kind at the right time. The way the viewer is fed pieces of information throughout the movie has of course been done before, but was executed very well. The acting was more than satisfactory.
The only thing that bothered me a little was the terrible Dutch accent of one of the actors. Bothersome, but absolutely genuine I can tell you.
A high quality production, which certainly deserves the attention of a large audience. Overall, I give this movie 8 out of 10.

This is a nice movie with its up- and downsides. Except for the premise of the movie (the combination of Kung fu and soccer) the storyline isn't too original. There are also some minor plotholes and the special effects are at times overdone. On the other side: this movie has some very funny moments in it, enough to make it worth seeing. It's not top of the bill comedy, but it sometimes sure made me lough out loud. The acting is pretty good, and the direction is very dynamic. 6.5/10
