I really liked The Equalizer when it first premiered. I love Queen Latifah and the premise of a female equalizer was intriguing. The first 3 seasons kept me interested. Season 4 was iffy, at best, but I didn't want to give up on the show.

I tried to watch the season 5 premiere but I had to change the channel. Weak story with less than stellar supporting actors. The writers have let this show down!!! Unfortunately, in my opinion, The Equalizer has Jumped the Shark! = ( = (

I would recommend the first 3 seasons. Season 4's quality starts to wane. Just watch 1-3 then find another show to watch.

You can clearly tell the writers, directors etc,, for this series, are NOT the same as the original series. = (. Prequels, in and of themselves, are difficult. Prequels without the original writers are even more challenging.

I thought the actor cast as Mike Franks was a good likeness but laughed because he's shorter than the actor cast as Gibbs. In the original NCIS, the reverse is true. The agent Randolf character is as annoying AF! Killing him off now would help A LOT!

I will give it one more episode before I write it off completely. I have friends who could not get through the first episode. = (

Is it an Oscar worthy movie? No. Watching Ellen Barkin play a man who is reincarnated as a woman but is still a man inside is FN hysterical!! "I can't think with all this hair!"
