An unforgetable film. Brought back so many memories e.i. my dad(Deniro)
and my wife and first love (Jane). Wonderful sound track. Kudos to all!! The music fit every scene to the "T". I loved this movie and have viewed it countless times via video.-Rod

The bath tub love scene between Ron O'Neal and Sheila Frazier with the background music of Curtis Mayfield("Gimme Your Love") is the most erotic, tastefully done love scene that I have ever witnessed!
I really liked this film!-Rod

I Loved this Depression Period film. In my opinion the best film Bronson ever made. James Coburn gave the film rhythm...Strother Martin gave it soul with a touch of perversity and Bronson gave it the "Shane" type heroism we all love. The bald fighter and the fighter dressed in black were truly menacing but showed a code of fairness. The ending was most special to me when Chaney(Bronson) shared his winnings with Coburn(Speed) and Martin(Poe). Coburn couldn't understand the gesture but respected a "Player" when he saw one.
