Ok all, I know Lt. Singer was a horrible person but lets remember, she is a well written, creatively devised FICTIONAL character. You can wish the wrath of God on her, you can express your disgust with her behaviour but come on! she isn't real. She was however an exceptionally written supporting character who added an element of friction to JAG that few shows have the guts to committ to. Lt. Singer's antics (and I have to admit I would really like to have seen her get her comeupance without ending her life. What lesson did that teach her?)created an interesting sub-plot that carried from episode to episode really easily and gave me someone I really loved to hate. But as much as she managed to make me dislike her more and more with every coniving little jab the point is, she is only a character, not a real person. I hope Nanci Chambers (the actress who plays Singer, and David James Elliot's wife :) )isn't mistaken for Singer in the future as I feel this is a role that could really stick with her to the point of typecasting. RIP Lt. Singer. Long live JAG.

Well I went into this hoping for the usual quality fare we have all come to expect from Joel Schumacher. Bad decision. Mr. Schumacher has done plenty better and none worse, and the really sad thing is that this movie had plenty of potential to be great. Somewhere around 20 minutes into the movie I stopped caring whether any of them made it out alive or not. Thank god it was only 80 minutes long. I might have shot myself if it had gone on any longer. For another movie scripted along the same lines, but carried off with more panache and fewer big names, try watching Liberty Stands Still (Linda Fiorentino, Wesley Snipes) This shooter actually has motive and there is a clever script, an intelligent plot line, and characters that appeal to the audience.

Did you ever wonder how much bad acting one person could watch before they'd begin to pray for death? Well watch this movie and I believe you will find your threshold. There is a plethora of comments that I could make on issues from scripting to stock footage to the sheer ineptitude of the entire project, but I have no intention of wasting a single key stroke more than is necessary to feel that I have done my civic duty in warning viewers away from this cinemagraphic catastrophe. Just when you thought is was safe to turn the tv back on! Save yourself the catatonia and rather than watching this trash watch Jaws again.
