Could be the best film ever made...
19 November 1999
...if you're a lover of bad cinema. From the horrible credit sequence which desperately tries to copy SUPERMAN, to the super cheesy flying sequences, to scenes of hero lifting up things like an incredibly fake looking, wooden (yes, wooden) bulldozer, director J.P. Simon delivers the goods yet again! The man who brought you PIECES and SLUGS doesn't disappoint. If you have no life, viewing this film is a must!!!

The movie of the 90's?
17 October 1999
Fight Club could be the defining movie of 90's. Dangerous, unpredictable, disturbing, hilarious and brilliant. Fincher's best work to date, and totally awe inspiring... He, or the cast, might never be this good again.

Kicks butt... but...
24 March 1999
The Matrix kicks butt. Though derivative of ideas put forward by countless other sci-fi films over the past few years, it is supremely well executed. Check it out.

What is wrong with everyone here?
15 March 1999
TEXAS BLOOD MONEY is a nifty little flick. What's up with everyone here? Are we talking about the same movie? I think you must've see HANGMAN'S DAUGHTER or, worse, the original FDTD (which was really horrible). The film is visual, exciting, witty, inventive, well produced (certainly not cheap) and has all the FX you can stomach.

I saw it at a screening here and everyone I talked to was stunned that Dimension was just dumping this straight to video. This was a definite theatrical quality picture.

The director I think did pretty well with the lame, cliched environment set up by Q.T. & co. in the first movie.
