The only and truly genuine Latin American film in this years Oscar race with probably the best dramatic performance of the year by Fernanda Torres, with a great adaptation of Rubens Paiva's autobiographical book, directed by one of the best Braziliam/latin directors, Walter Salles (Central Station / The Motorcycle Diaries)
It is utterly outrageous that Emilia Perez is considered the frontrunner for Best International Film in virtually all awards and receives way more atention over this profoundly true and moving story based on real facts when Mexicans have made it very clear how offensive and misinterpreted is the French fantasy about their country.

It's about time for this amazing Irish team of creators, who has been nominated 4 times for an Oscar, to be finally recognized with an Academy Award.
Tired of seeing Disney/Pixar wins year after year no matter how good or not so good their films are.
What a magnificent film this is, full of creation, magic and emotion!
Give it an Oscar right away!
