I just knew that at some point religion would get into the picture. So this one is about a teenage faith healer who gets sick. Like so much of religion, when one brings in the scientific explanations, they counter with faith. Which means no matter what happens, God is at the center of it. House is indeed cynical to a fault, so there is nothing that is going to bring him over to the other side. When someone in desperate straits experiences a bit of joy, it would be human to think that there was some kind of intervention from a superior being or force. Sometime it is just part of the randomness of life. Think of all the pain in the world, especially in third world countries, and come up with God's goodness.
By the way, is there anyone out there that was stunned by Wilson's actions in this episode?

The patient is a lesbian woman who can't sleep takes a whole bottle of sleeping pills and is in the hospital. While there, a whole lot of bad things start to happen. At first she is treated for the sleep disorder which is deadly and then she begins to have dramatic symptoms. House works at trying to find out what is going on but he gets in the middle of a spat between Foreman and Cameron over an article each of them wrote. Cameron felt it was stolen from her.
What complicates things even more is that there is a need for a liver transplant and the two women have the same blood type. But, there is a kicker that is non-medical and Cameron can't keep her nose out of it.
