This is a pretty decent flick. Classic Kung Fu at its best (or worst, depends on how you look at it). The great Mobus would approve.
No movie comes close to this classic film in many respects. Hal Warren's top notch directing (and starring role) made this film the instant classic that it was. His lead role of "Michael" was a true inspiration for many up and coming actors like Leonardo Di Caprio, Jerry Seinfeld and Mako. Tom Neyman's depiction of "The Master" was awe-inspiring and evil. He displayed almost a divine aura on the screen. The true gem of this film was the depiction of the quasimodo like "Torgo" by the unforgettable John Reynolds. Its a shame the film world loss such talent due to his unfortunate suicide in 1966.
