I never write reviews on here or anywhere but felt compelled to write one here. I just got back from seeing this in theatres, which I wasn't planning on initially but went ahead and ventured out today to see it and wow my mind is blown. I went in pretty blind, I didn't read the synopsis, I just saw an early teaser trailer for it and knew Demi Moore was in it and loved the look of it.

Speaking of looks, the cinematography is outstanding here. I loved the look of the film, the lighting and angles used, and costume design was on point. The acting from the leads were all fantastic, Dennis Quaid's character was very over the top sleazy and Demi Moore gave a great performance and you could just feel all her emotions. I wasn't familiar with Margaret Qualley but her character was great as well and she's incredibly gorgeous to boot, definitely need to go and check out her other work now.

This movie is definitely in the body horror genre and not for the squimish, so if you are not into tons of blood, gore, vomiting, and also has a lot of nudity, then this may not be for you. Otherwise, I highly recommend this film and I have been to the theatre more than usual this year and this is 100% my favorite film of 2024 so far and I really cannot see this being outdone anytime soon for me anyway.

Pleasantly surprising exorcism film, nice to see Doug Bradley in the film as well he was fantastic as were the rest of the actors. Also was cool to see Michelle Bauer had a part in this as the demon in the film, have always loved her! It had a good setting, pacing, and many twists and turns. It looked and sounded great as well, loved the music. Some cheaper horror films have very shoddy effects but they were overall very well done in here. You can find it on streaming services currently and it's playing in limited theatres. This is a big step up for director Jose Prendes, very well done all around!
